Feb. 19, 2008
The summer of 2008 promises to be an exciting season for fans of USA Basketball, its an Olympic year after all, and fortunately the action gets started much sooner than August. First up for USA Basketball is the Nike Hoop Summit, the nations premiere event for high school seniors.
Before we announce the 2008 location and ticket information, which are all coming very soon, USABasketball.com wanted to share why any basketball fan cant afford to miss the 2008 Nike Hoop Summit.
In a competition unlike any other, the Hoop Summit pits the USA Junior National Select Team, featuring 10 of Americas best male high school seniors, against the World Select Team, a one-time roster comprised of the best 19-and-unders from the rest of the planet. In the 10-game history of the series, the USA Junior National Select Team holds an 8-2 advantage over the World Select Team.
