Mike Krzyzewski

Mike Krzyzewski (USA head coach, Duke University)
Talk about Monty Williams:
I already knew Monty a little bit. He and Grant Hill are great friends and obviously I’ve watched him work. Part of the reason for our whole staff running this thing is to get us to know each other as a staff. Monty’s terrific. To have he and Tom is tremendous. We feel really comfortable with one another and now when we come back for the World Cup next summer, we’re already friends and we know we can rely on one another. We’ll keep up more of communication during our seasons now as a result of this.

Have you noticed he’s had a great thirst for knowledge this week?
Well I hope we all have a thirst for knowledge, including me. I don’t want to just be the guy talking. I want to be the guy listening. So, he has a lot of knowledge to go with his thirst for knowledge. He’s a great teacher. You can see he commands the respect of all these guys.

Harrison Barnes

Harrison Barnes (Golden State Warriors)
How has training camp gone for you?
I think it's going well. I'm trying to play as hard as I can and trying to compete against these guys.

What strengths are you trying to put on display?
I'm trying to show I can play multiple positions. In some of these scrimmages I was able to play the four, guard the four, so hopefully that will kind of be my niche since versatility is big on the national team.

Kenneth Faried

Kenneth Faried (Denver Nuggets)
How has training camp gone for you?
It's cool. I'm enjoying it. It's a fun time -- all this talent. Just having fun and enjoying my time with the guys. The time we get to spend together is really valuable because we don't get to play with this type of talent all of the time, every day.

What strengths are you trying to put on display?
Playing hard, rebounding and doing what I love to do, play basketball.

Greg Monroe

Greg Monroe (Detroit Pistons)
How has training camp gone for you?
It's been great. To be in the gym with such a talented group of guys, just competing, everybody getting better, it's been great. Now it's time to focus on the game. I'm pretty sure everybody wants to play well, put on a good show and also make a good impression on the people at USA Basketball.

What strengths are you trying to put on display?
Just what you need in the international game -- unselfishness, rebounding, running the floor trying to get easy buckets and definitely playing defense.

Tyler Zeller
Tyler Zeller (Cleveland Cavaliers)
How has training camp gone for you?
It's been good. It's something that anytime you can be at a USA camp, it's a great honor to be here. Just being able to play with people as talented as everybody is here, it's kind of shows you what you need to work on and where you are at. Also, just a great experience to be able to play and try to make yourself better.

How are you playing, personally?
I've played alright. Again, with so much talent, it's tough to really stand out as just one person, but I've played alright and felt like I've held my own.

What are you trying to put on display for the coaches?
You are just trying to play and do everything you can, playing with a different group of people than you normally play with. you are just trying to find you niche and get comfortable with who ever you are playing with.
