After helping USA Basketball win two gold medals in 2014 -- first at the Nike Hoop Summit and then at the 2014 FIBA Americas Championship -- Justise Winslow is currently playing his freshman season at Duke University (where he is teaming up with former USA Basketball teammates Tyus Jones and Jahlil Okafor). Even for an elite player such as Winslow, success is never guaranteed. Winslow first tried out at USA Basketball for the U16 team a few years ago, but he didn't make that squad. The experience, he says, made him work even harder. Here's what he had to say about his basketball journey and what he's learned.

Four 2014-16 USA Basketball National Team members are currently competing in China, 10 are in the EuroLeague, three are competing in the EuroCup, one is in Australia, two began the season in South Korea and two are still in college.
