Headlined by three-time USA Basketball gold medalist Terrance Ferguson, 26 athletes today were announced as participants in the 2016 USA Basketball Men’s U18 National Team training camp.

The 2016 USA U18 Men's National Team was placed in Group B with Chile, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

FIBA Americas today in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, conducted the draw for the 2016 FIBA Americas U18 Championship for Women, and the USA was placed in preliminary round Group A with Brazil, Guatemala and Venezuela.

Shaka Smart will guide the 2016 USA Men’s U18 National Team with USA assistant coaches Kevin Ollie and Mark Turgeon.

Fifty-seven of the nation’s top high school-aged basketball players have been named to the 2015-16 USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Team roster and 55 are confirmed to participate in the 7th annual USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Team minicamp.
