Four years ago, Chase Jeter, a forward out of Las Vegas, Nevada, says no one in the basketball community knew who he was. That may be hard to believe for basketball fans who have watched the Duke-bound senior and USA Basketball gold medalist help Bishop Gorman to three straight Nevada Division I state titles.

After helping USA Basketball win the 2014 Nike Hoop Summit and capture the gold medal at the 2014 FIBA Americas U18 Championship Justise Winslow is currently playing his freshman season at Duke University (where he is teaming up with former USA Basketball teammates Tyus Jones and Jahlil Okafor). Even for an elite player such as Winslow, success is never guaranteed. Winslow first tried out at USA Basketball for the U16 team a few years ago, but he didn't make that squad. The experience, he says, made him work even harder. Here's what he had to say about his basketball journey and what he's learned.
