Viewing: Nike Hoop Summit

When Malik Newman takes the floor for the USA in the 2015 Nike Hoop Summit on April 11 in Portland, Oregon, he not only will be surrounded by 10 USA Basketball gold medalists for teammates, he likely will be the most decorated player on the floor – for either the U.S. or the World Select Team.

When Jalen Brunson, who will play for the USA in the 2015 Nike Hoop Summit, first picked up a basketball at just 5 years old, his parents expected him to follow in their athletic footsteps. They likley did not expect, however, just how tremendously talented their son would grow to be 13 years later.

The 2015 World Select Team for the 18th annual Nike Hoop Summit will feature 11 of the world's best basketball players who are 19 years old or younger, including Canadian guard Jamal Murray, who returns for his second Nike Hoop Summit appearance.

This past July Caleb Swanigan arrived in Colorado Springs for the 2014 USA Basketball Men’s U17 World Championship Team training camp – his first USA Basketball experience – and did what only 11 other players out of 32 contenders were able to do, which was earn a spot on the 2014 USA U17 World Championship Team.

Currently in the midst of his senior year of high school at Findlay Prep in Nevada, Allonzo Trier is a basketball player with more experience under his belt than most of his peers.
