Shop NowIn response to the COVID-19 pandemic and out of concern for the health and safety of the athletes, coaches, staff and fans, USA Basketball has decided to cancel the 2020 3x3 U18 National Championships scheduled for May 1-3.
Played on a half court, FIBA 3x3 rules have evolved since first launching in 2010. Currently, each field goal inside the arc is one point, while buckets launched from outside the arc are worth two points. The first team to score 21 points, or the team with the most points at the end of the 10-minute game, is declared the winner.
A team named Bulldogs and comprised of Larry Austin, DeMonte Flannigan and Rondaé Hollis-Jefferson captured the inaugural USA Basketball 3x3 National Championship and earned the right to represent the USA at the 2012 FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup. Since then, teams by the names of DLDC (2013), Legit (2014), Stars (2015), Ballerz (2016), Hoopla (2017), Quest (2018) and Attack (2019) have earned the championship trophy.
