Jill Vroom, née Berryman, joined the USA Basketball staff in March 2014 as office manager/executive assistant after three years as ticket sales and service coordinator with the Memphis Grizzlies. In November 2018, Vroom was promoted to director, office operations and special projects.
Vroom works with USA Basketball CEO Jim Tooley in numerous aspects of the organization, including planning the USA Basketball Annual Assembly, coordinating meetings of the Board of Directors and organizing details for various projects and events throughout the year.
She also assists USA Basketball CFO Brent Baumberger in a variety of tasks in helping to run the day-to-day operations in the USA Basketball offices, including administering employee health plans, working with insurance brokers, maintaining human resource policies and processing payroll.
Vroom began working with the Grizzlies as a community investment intern in October 2010, where she assisted with the coordination of community investment programs and initiatives.
Prior to arriving in Memphis, she interned for five months in the Minnesota Timberwolves’ community relations department in 2009 and was an administrative assistant for the men’s basketball office at her alma mater, University of Wisconsin-Stout, from 2006-09.
Vroom graduated magna cum laude in 2010 from Wisconsin-Stout with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration.
She and her husband, Dival, reside in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
