Kenisha Ikener joined USA Basketball in April 2010 as receptionist/office assistant. In November 2018, Ikener was promoted to coordinator, first impressions and office administration.
As part of her many duties, Ikener is instrumental in helping USA Basketball process international Letters of Clearance applications. Ikener assists agents, player representatives and athletes in obtaining clearance for U.S.-based athletes to play overseas. She also helps secure clearances from foreign basketball federations for athletes coming to the United States to compete for one of USA Basketball's member organizations. Ikener also coordinates the sanctioning of foreign and domestic basketball tours between teams from the United States and foreign federations.
Additionally, Ikener assists in the daily needs of the office; communicating with vendors on the coordination of various tasks. She also provides administrative support to the finance department and assists with the processing of invoices and expense reports.
A native of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Ikener graduated from Rampart High School.
