The 2016 USA U18 National Teams, among other junior USA squads, might have been lost in the Olympic hype last summer, but that doesn’t mean the teams didn’t have their fair share of talented athletes, 11 of which are on NCAA Division I rosters this season.

The 2016 USA U18 National Teams, among other junior USA squads, might have been lost in the Olympic hype last summer, but that doesn’t mean the teams didn’t have their fair share of talented athletes and coaches. Both the USA men’s and women’s U18 teams captured gold in Valdivia, Chile, with perfect 5-0 records. Washington freshman Markelle Fultz was tabbed MVP of the FIBA Americas U18 Championship for Men, while Baylor freshman Lauren Cox earned MVP honors in the women’s U18 tournament.
