The USA Men’s U16 National Team captured the gold medal in the 2015 FIBA Americas U16 Championship with a 77-60 win over Canada Sunday night in Bahia Blanca, Argentina.
This was the fourth consecutive gold medal for the USA in the FIBA Americas U16 Championship.
The gold medal ensures a spot for the USA in the 2016 FIBA U17 World Championship.
Gary Trent Jr. was named MVP of the 2015 FIBA Americas U16 Championship. In the final against canada, Trent tied for the team-lead with 19 points and led the USA with three 3-pointers.
