The USA 3x3 U18 Men’s World Cup Team won its semifinal game convincingly over Belarus and its gold medal contest in a similar style against Estonia to win the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup title on Sunday night in Debrecen, Hungary.

The USA 3x3 U18 Men’s World Cup Team defeated Lithuania 21-13 with 2:17 on the clock in the quarterfinals of the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup on Saturday in Debrecen, Hungary.

The USA 3x3 U18 Men’s World Cup Team wrapped up preliminary round play with a victory against Latvia, and as Pool D’s No. 1 seed, the USA will play the No. 2 seed from Pool B at 6:55 a.m. EDT on Aug. 28.

The USA men opened play at the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup with an exciting 21-17, come-from-behind win over Estonia and a 21-13 victory over Slovenia that saw the USA post an 11-4 closing run.

When the USA men take the court in their first game of the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup against Estonia on Aug. 25 in Debrecen, Hungary, it will be the first time any of the USA team members have represented the United States in international competition.
