Shop NowUSA Basketball 3x3 teams combined for an outstanding year in 2019, compiling an overall record of 33-7. The USA won gold medals at at the men's FIBA 3x3 World Cup, the men's and women's FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cups and the inaugural men's and women's Pan American Games (pictured above after the men won gold to make it a USA sweep). In addition to the Pan American Games 3x3 golds, two of those golds - the men's gold medals at the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup and FIBA World Cup - were firsts for the USA.
2019 saw the U.S. men finish 7-0 and win their first gold at the FIBA 3x3 World Cup. The gold medal team featured Canyon Barry (left), Damon Huffman (5), Kareem Maddox (9) and Robbie Hummel (right).
2019 FIBA 3x3 World Cup MVP Robbie Hummel also was named the 2019 USA Basketball Male Athlete of the Year.

The University of Oregon team won the 2019 Red Bull USA Basketball 3x3 Nationals gold medal for a second straight year. The gold medalist team consisted of (from left to right) Oti Gildon, Lydia Giomi, Ruthy Hebard and Sabrina Ionescu.
The USA men’s and women’s 3x3 U18 national teams won gold with identical 7-0 records, marking the first time the same nation swept the FIBA men’s and women’s World Cup U18 titles.
The USA men finished 7-0 at the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, to win the first U.S. men’s 3x3 U18 title. The team included (from left to right) Ethan Morton, Dawson Garcia, Devin Askew and Nimari Burnett.
Dawson Garcia, who averaged 7.4 points per game in the USA’s seven wins, was named MVP at the 2019 FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup.

At the inaugural World Beach Games that were played Oct. 13-16 in Doha, Qatar, the USA was represented by two WNBA players, a collegian and one high school athlete, including Napheesa Collier (left, Minnesota Lynx), Ruthy Hebard (No. 13, University of Oregon), Jackie Young (No. 5, Las Vegas Aces) and Paige Bueckers (seated, Hopkins H.S., Minn.).
