Shop NowAfter first playing for USA Basketball in 2007, Kevin Love has won Olympic (2012) and FIBA World Cup (2010) gold medals.
Kevin Love, then 18 years old, was a member of the 2007 USA team that defeated the World Select Team 100-80 in the 10th annual Nike Hoop Summit in Memphis, Tennessee. He recorded 13 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two blocked shots in the win.
As a member of the USA Blue Team in the 2009 USA Basketball Showcase, Kevin Love recorded four points, three rebounds, one assist and two steals in 17 minutes played in Las Vegas.
Kevin Love was named as a member of the 2010-12 USA Men’s National Team on Feb. 10, 2010.
In the 2010 USA Basketball Showcase, Kevin Love played for the USA Blue Team that fell 114-96 to the USA White squad. He contributed eight points and seven rebounds in 20 minutes of action. He is pictured here before the game with members of the U.S. Army.

As a member of the 2010 USA World Cup Team that finished 9-0 and won gold, Kevin Love (center) played in all nine games and averaged 5.7 points and a team third-best 4.9 rebounds per game, while shooting 57.1% (20-35 FGs) from the field and 77.8% (7-9 FTs) from the foul line.
Kevin Love recorded seven points and a team-high 10 rebounds in the USA’s opening win over Croatia in the 2010 FIBA World Cup. He followed that with a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds in USA’s win over Slovenia and posted a team-leading 13 points to go with six rebounds versus Iran.
Kevin Love was a member of the 2012 USA National Team that finished its pre-Olympic tour with a 5-0 record. He played in all five games and averaged 3.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game and shot 50.0% from the floor.
As a member of the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team that finished 8-0 and won the gold medal in London, Kevin Love played in all eight games and averaged a team fifth-best 11.6 points per game to go with a team-best 7.6 rebounds per game and shot 63.0% from the field.
In the U.S. Olympic men’s record book, Kevin Love lists fourth for single-competition rebounds (61 in 2012), and he is third for career rebounds averaged (7.6 rpg.).
While the Tokyo Olympic Games have been postponed until 2021, Kevin Love was named a finalist for the U.S. Olympic Men's Basketball Team on Feb. 10, 2020.
