At the 2009 FIBA U19 World Cup, Gordon Hayward was named to the all-tournament team after he averaged 10.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.4 steals per game to help the USA to a 9-0 record and its first gold medal since the 1991 edition of the event.
Tyshawn Taylor was named to the all-tournament team at the 2009 FIBA U19 World Cup after he tallied 18 points, six assists and five steals in the USA’s gold medal victory over Greece. Overall, he averaged a team-high 10.8 points to go with 1.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.8 steals per game to help the USA to its first U19 men's title in 18 years.
In 2011, Jeremy Lamb earned FIBA U19 World Cup All-Tournament Team honors after he started in all nine USA games and averaged a team-high 16.3 points to go with 4.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game as the USA finished in fifth place with a 7-2 record.
Aaron Gordon was the first USA player to earn MVP honors at a men’s FIBA U19 World Cup, taking home the award in 2013 after coming off the USA bench to average team-highs of 12.6 points and 6.2 rebounds to go with 1.9 assists and 2.0 steals per game to help the USA to a gold medal and 9-0 record. Jahlil Okafor earned all-tournament honors at the 2013 FIBA U19 World Cup. The USA won gold with a 9-0 record, and Okafor came off the bench to contribute a team second-best 10.8 points to go with 4.8 rebounds per game.
Jalen Brunson, who started in all seven USA wins and averaged 14.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and team-highs of 5.6 assists and 2.1 steals per game, was named MVP of the 2015 FIBA U19 World Cup as the USA claimed gold.
At the 2015 FIBA U19 World Cup, Harry Giles was named to the all-tournament team. He recorded five double-doubles during the event and came off the USA bench to average a team-high 10.6 rebounds to go with 14.0 points per game.
Payton Pritchard earned all-tournament at the 2017 FIBA U19 World Cup after he came off the USA bench to average 9.0 points, 2.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game as the USA won the bronze medal with a 6-1 record.
At the 2019 FIBA U19 World Cup, Reggie Perry was named MVP after he started in all seven USA wins and averaged team-highs of 13.1 points and 7.9 rebounds to go with 1.9 assists per game to help the USA to the gold medal.
Tyrese Haliburton was named to the all-tournament team at the 2019 FIBA U19 World Cup, where he started in all seven USA wins and averaged 7.9 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.3 steals and a team-high 6.9 assists per game.
