Shop NowCade Cunningham first participated with USA Basketball at the 2018 USA Men’s Junior National Team October minicamp.
After being named to the 2019 USA U19 World Cup Team, Cade Cunningham started in both of the USA’s exhibition games. During the friendlies, he averaged 25.5 minutes, a team-high 15.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game while shooting 63.6% from the field, 50.0% from 3-point and 100.0% from the free throw line.
As a member of the 2019 USA Basketball Men’s U19 World Cup Team, Cade Cunningham helped the USA to a gold medal with a 7-0 record at the FIBA U19 World Cup in Heraklion, Greece.
At the 2019 FIBA U19 World Cup, Cade Cunningham started in all seven U.S. wins and averaged 23.6 minutes, 11.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 40.7% from the field.
Cade Cunningham recorded 21 points, seven rebounds and seven assists versus Mali in the 2019 FIBA U19 World Cup gold medal game. He also recorded 21 points and seven rebounds against Lithuania; 11 points versus New Zealand; and 11 points and 10 assists versus Latvia.
Cade Cunningham was named to the 2020 USA Nike Hoop Summit Team on Feb. 7, 2020, however, the event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Cade Cunningham is a freshman at Oklahoma State University in 2020-21. In his debut on Nov. 25, he scored 21 points and collected 10 rebounds, which made him the first Oklahoma State freshman in school history to open his career with a double-double.
