Shop NowJennifer Rizzotti has been a member of eight USA Basketball coaching staffs, including gold medals at the 2016 Olympics and the 2014 and 2018 FIBA World Cups.
Jennifer Rizzotti first vaulted into the national spotlight as the starting point guard for the University of Connecticut’s first national championship team in 1995, which compiled a 35-0 record. During the run to the national title, Rizzotti was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated. An All-American and the NCAA Regional Most Outstanding Player in 1995 and 1996, she virtually swept the 1996 postseason awards as Big East Player of the Year, Big East Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Associated Press Player of the Year, Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year and the Wade Trophy winner.
As an athlete with USA Basketball, Jennifer Rizzotti (first row, center) was a member of the 1996 USA R. William Jones Cup that earned the gold medal with a 9-0 slate.
Jennifer Rizzotti played eight seasons of professional basketball following her graduation from UConn in 1996. In addition to five seasons in the WNBA - two with the Houston Comets and three with the Cleveland Rockers - she competed for two-and-a-half seasons with the New England Blizzard in the American Basketball League. In the ABL she was a two-time All-Star.

Jennifer Rizzotti led the USA to an 8-1 record and gold medal at the 2011 FIBA U19 World Cup, which was her second-straight summer guiding a USA Basketball team to a top finish.
Jennifer Rizzotti was named the 2011 USA Basketball National Coach of the Year after leading the USA to gold at the 2011 FIBA U19 World Cup in Puerto Montt, Chile.
Jennifer Rizzotti served as an advance scout/court coach for the gold-medal winning 2016 U.S. Olympic and 2014 USA World Cup teams, and she also was a court coach during USA National Team training camps from 2014-17.
