Shop NowRhyne Howard has won two gold medals with USA Basketball and was named MVP at the 2018 FIBA Americas U18 Championship and to the all-tournament team at the 2019 FIBA U19 World Cup.
As a member of the 2018 USA U18 National Team, Rhyne Howard started in five of six games and averaged 8.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and tied for a team-high with 3.0 assists per game to help the USA to a 6-0 record and a gold medal in Mexico City.
Rhyne Howard was named MVP of the 2018 FIBA Americas U18 Championship.
Rhyne Howard competed for Drive in the 2019 Red Bull USA Basketball 3X Nationals, where she helped lead her team to a silver medal and a 6-2 record. She scored 11 of her team’s 20 points in the championship game.
Rhyne Howard was a member of the 2019 USA U19 World Cup Team that finished with a 7-0 record and captured the gold medal with a 74-70 overtime victory over Australia in Thailand. She started in all seven games and averaged a team-high 13.1 points to go with 5.1 rebounds per game.
At the 2019 FIBA U19 World Cup, Rhyne Howard was named to the five-member all-tournament team.
At the University of Kentucky, Rhyne Howard is in her junior season in 2020-21. She has started in all 65 career games (as of Dec. 29, 2020) and this season is averaging 15.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game through the first six contests.
