Stefanie Dolson is a 6-foot-5 forward who plays for the Chicago Sky.
“Going to the Olympics for me personally has always been a dream since I was a kid. The opportunity to get there is at this qualifying tournament. We’ve been putting in a lot of work, and I’m just excited to get there.” - Stefanie Dolson
“We have really good chemistry. Being able to have these camps was important to us and have been so crucial for us to be able to play with each other and just learn how to work off of each other, work with each other. So, we’ve built a lot of chemistry in the last couple months and I think we’re definitely ready for the tournament.” - Stefanie Dolson
Allisha Gray is a 6-foot guard for the Dallas Wings.
“3x3 is a very up-tempo game. You’re always going, going, going and never stopping. So, cardio-wise, that’s like the test. If I can make it through a 3x3 game while we’re at training camp, I know that my cardio is good for a five-on-five game.” - Allisha Gray
“It’s a big opportunity. Being part of the first 3x3 Olympic Qualifying Team and being able to help USA Basketball qualify for the Olympics, then hopefully making the Olympic team so I can go to the Olympics. I mean that’s just a great opportunity. I’m honored anytime USA Basketball calls and wants you to be a part of what they’re doing.” - Allisha Gray
Kelsey Plum is a 5-foot-8 guard for the Las Vegas Aces.
“I'm just trying to learn, to be a sponge and soak it up, because I know that it's going to be needed. We are going to face tough competition at the Olympic qualifying event, and we have a lot of really experienced teams that we're going to face.” - Kelsey Plum
“My favorite 3x3 parts are probably the intensity, like how fast you have to play. The transitions between offense to defense and defense to offense are a lot of fun, because you can shoot quick 3s and kind of make quick decisions offensively and defensively. I like how you can play very physical, because there's not individual fouls. There's team fouls, so I like to take as many team fouls as I can for the team. And it's just fun. You have to be locked in, and there has to be a focus there. I really enjoy it. I've had a ton of fun, and I think it overall makes you a better basketball player.” - Kelsey Plum
Katie Lou Samuelson is a 6-foot 3 forward for the Seattle Storm.
“It’s really great to just be able to compete for this, and then for me to be able to have the chance to play 3x3 again. I’m super excited to have the chance to qualify for the Olympics for Team USA.” – Katie Lou Samuelson
“I think (my game) fits pretty well. I’m able to play in versatile positions. I think I can play defense on both guards and bigs so that helps a lot with 3x3 because there’s a lot of switching. It’s only 12 seconds each possession so you can’t match up every single time.” – Katie Lou Samuelson
