Patrick Baldwin Jr. recently finished his high school basketball career at Hamilton H.S. (Wis.). Despite an injury his senior year, he was named a 2021 McDonald’s All-American and in his junior year won 2020 Wisconsin Gatorade Player of the Year after averaging 24.3 ppg., and 10.8 rpg. Baldwin was also named to the 2021 Nike Hoop Summit Team. He is committed to attend and play at UW-Milwaukee for his dad Pat Baldwin.

Kennedy Chandler was selected as a 2021 McDonald’s All-American and helped lead Sunrise Christian Academy (Kan.) to a 21-4 record averaging 14.8 ppg., 4.2 rpg., and 3.3 spg. A 2019 and 2020 Tennessee Mr. Basketball recipient, he is committed to attend and play at University of Tennessee.

Jonathan Davis just completed his freshman season at University of Wisconsin where he averaged 7.0 ppg., and 4.1 rpg. Davis won the 2020 Wisconsin Mr. Basketball award and finished his high school career as Central High School’s (WI) all-time leading scorer (2,159 points). As a senior in 2019-20 at Central, he averaged 27.4 ppg., and 9.2 rpg.

Furst

Caleb Furst recently finished his high school career at Blackhawk Christian School (IN) and as a senior helped it to a 2A state title averaging 21.4 ppg., 14.1 rpg., 3.0 apg., and 2.2 bpg, starting all 31 games. A Purdue University commit for next season, Furst won 2021 Gatorade Indiana Player of the Year, 2021 Indiana Mr. Basketball and earned a 3.99 GPA in high school.

Holmgren

Chet Holmgren is coming off a highly successful high school career at Minnehaha Academy (MN) where he won his fourth state title this past season averaging 20.7 ppg., 12.4 rpg., 4.4 apg., and 5.1 bpg. Holmgren’s 2021 accolades include Gatorade National Player of the Year, Sports Illustrated All-American Player of the Year and Morgan Wootten National Player of the year. He currently ranks 1st in the nation in the 2021 class by ESPN and is committed to play at Gonzaga University in the fall. Holmgren was also announced to the 2021 USA Nike Hoop Summit Team.

Harrison Ingram recently completed his senior year at St. Mark’s H.S (TX) where he averaged 22.0 ppg., 12.0 rpg., and 8.4 apg. Ingram was selected as a 2021 McDonald’s all-American and is committed to attend and play at Stanford University next season.

Jaden Ivey just completed his freshman season at Purdue University where he averaged 11.1 ppg., 3.3 rpg., and 1.9 apg, highlighting his season with a career-high 26-point game versus University of North Texas in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. He was selected to the 2021 Big Ten Conference All-Freshman Team and was a two-time Big Ten Conference Freshman of the Week. He participated in both of the USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Team minicamps in July and October of 2019.

Ryan Kalkbrenner recently finished his freshman season at Creighton University where he ranked first among Big East Conference freshman in blocked shots per game (1.2 bpg). He averaged 5.9 ppg., 3.5 rpg., and 1.2 bpg in 31 appearances last season. His 38 blocked shots ranked seventh nationally among freshmen.

Kenneth Lofton Jr. just completed a successful freshman campaign at Louisiana Tech University where he was named Conference USA Freshman of the Year. He averaged 12.1 ppg, 7.5 rpg and 1.0 spg in 32 games (28 starts) for the Bulldogs.

Miles

Mike Miles recently completed his freshman season at TCU where he averaged 13.6 ppg., 3.5 rpg., and 3.1 apg. He was one of five freshmen in the country to average at least 13.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. As a senior at Lancaster High School (TX) in 2019-20, Miles led his team to a 36-1 record, averaging 21.4 ppg., 4.0 rpg., 4.0 apg., and 3.0 spg.

Adam Miller spent his freshman season at University of Illinois where he averaged 8.3 ppg. and 2.8 rpg. He was the fifth-leading scorer among Big Ten freshmen and led all Big 10 freshmen with 52 3-pointers. Miller recently transferred to LSU following his freshman season at Illinois. Miller was also named a finalist for the 2018 USA Men’s U17 World Cup Team and has participated in two USA Junior National Team minicamps (2018, 2019).

Peyton Watson was selected to the 2021 USA Nike Hoop Summit Team and participated in two USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Team minicamps in 2019. He recently finished his senior season at Long Beach Poly High School (CA) and is committed to play at UCLA in the fall. Watson was named a 2021 McDonald’s All-American and is ranked 10th in the nation in the 2021 class by ESPN.

Sue Phillips has been at the helm of some celebrated teams in her tenure with USA Basketball, but the 2013 Women’s U16 Junior National Team that won the FIBA Americas U16 Championship ranks among the best. This year marks the 10-year anniversary of that championship tournament run, that team and gold medal was Phillips’s first of many with USA Basketball.

Players will participate in a USA Basketball Junior National Team minicamp from March 31-April 2 in conjunction with the 2023 NCAA Women's Final Four.

The international portion of the USA Basketball Showcase begins with matchups against Slovenia (Aug. 12) and Spain (Aug. 13) in Malaga, Spain. Then, on Aug. 18 and Aug. 20, the program is slated to host exhibitions against both Greece and Germany, respectively, in Abu Dhabi in the days prior to the 2023 FIBA Men’s World Cup.

USA Basketball announced the U.S. Men’s National Team will play two games in Malaga, Spain, as part of the USA Basketball Showcase in preparation for the 2023 FIBA Men’s World Cup.
