USA BASKETBALL NOTES:

  • Helped lead the 2020 February USA AmeriCup Qualifying Team to a 2-0 record and a pair of wins over Puerto Rico in the first window of FIBA AmeriCup qualifying tournament. Played in one game, averaged 15.0 minutes and 10.0 points a game, shooting 4-4 from the field and 2-2 from the foul line. Injured and unable to play in the USA second game.  
  • Named a member of the February 2020 USA Basketball Men’s AmeriCup Qualifying Team on Feb. 12, 2020.

  • Has played in 34 NBA regular season games. with the Atlanta Hawks in 2018-19.  Averaged 12.6 minutes, 3.2 points1.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists. Shot 34.5 percent from the field, 33.8 percent from 3-point and 77.8 percent from the foul line.
  • Played in 2019-20 for NBA G League Wisconsin Herd. Played in 33 games, started in 32 games, averaged 32.7 minutes, 21.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.4 assists a game. Shot 48.7 percent from the field, 40.1 percent from 3-point and 78.8 percent from the foul line.
  • Played in 2018-19 for NBA G League Erie BayHawks. Played and started in 20 games, averaged 31.7 minutes, 15.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.5 steals a game. Shot 39.2 percent from the field, 34.4 percent from 3-point and 76.3 percent from the foul line.
  • Played in two games for the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2019-20 pre-season. Averaged 13.0 minutes, 4.5 points and 3.0 rebounds a game.
  • Played for the Atlanta Hawks in the 2019 NBA Las Vegas Summer League. Played and started in four games, averaged 28.1 minutes, 7.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.0 steals a game.
  • Played in four games for the Atlanta Hawks in the 2018-19 pre-season. Averaged 10.6 minutes, 3.8 points a game.
  • Averaged 27.0 minutes, 14.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game in three games at the 2018 Portsmouth Invitational.

COLLEGE NOTES:

  • Played four seasons (2014-15 - 2017-18) for St. Bonaventure University.
  • In his four collegiate seasons, played in 110 games, started in 109 games, compiled 1,912 points (17.4 ppg.), 313 rebounds (3.4 rpg.) and 590 assists (5.4 apg.). Shot 42.7 percent from the field, 39.4 percent from 3-point and 83.8 percent from the foul line.
  • Finished his career sixth on St. Bonaventure's all-time scoring list (1,912 points) and was the top scoring guard in program history. Also ranked second on the team's all-time list for made 3-pointers (270) and third in assists (590).
  • As a senior (2017-18), played and started in 28 games, averaged 37.0 minutes, 19.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game. Shot 43.7 percent from the field, 43.6 percent from 3-point and 85.1 percent from the foul line.
  • Recorded 40-plus points in back-to-back games, scoring 40 (10-13 3pt FGs) at Duquesne (2/3/18), and a career high 44 against Saint Louis (2/7/18).  Became the first Division I player to score 40 points or more in back-to-back games since 2014 and only the third player in school history to do it.
  • Named 2017-18 Associated Press All-American honorable mention, Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Year, All-Atlantic 10 Conference first team, NABC All-District and U.S. Basketball Writers Association All-District II.
  • As a junior (2016-17), played in and started in 30 games, averaged 37.4 minutes, 20.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 2.1 steals per game. Shot 41.9 percent from the field, 35.6 percent from 3-point and 82.1 percent from the foul line.
  • Named 2016-17 All-Atlantic 10 Conference first team, NABC All-District and U.S. Basketball Writers Association All-District II.
  • Was the only NCAA Division I player to rank in the top 25 nationally in scoring (24th) and the top 10 in assists.
  • As a sophomore (2015-16), played in and started in 30 games, averaged 37.5 minutes, 17.9 ppg., 3.7 rebounds and 5.0 assists a game.
  • Named 2015-16 All-Atlantic 10 Conference first team and NABC All-District second team.
  • As a freshman (2014-15), played in 22 games, started in 21 games, averaged 32.5 minutes, 10.1 points and 4.5 assists per game.

PERSONAL NOTES:

  • Son of Yalonda and Darryl Adams, has one brother Brendan and one sister Anyah.
  • Father played football at the University of Maryland and his mother was a 2014 Hall of Fame inductee at Wesley College for women's basketball.
