  • Played in both games for the USA in the AmeriCup Qualifying February 2021 window, helping the USA to wins over Bahamas (93-77) and Mexico (95-76). In the two games, averaged 17.0 minutes, 4.5 points, 1.5 rebounds and a team second-best 4.0 assists a game.

  • As a freshman (2013-14), played in 36 games, started in 18 games, averaged 24.2 minutes, 8.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists a game. Shot 40.1% from the field, 26.1% from 3-point and 69.6% from the foul line.

PERSONAL NOTES:

  • Full name is Anthony “Cat’ Barber.

  • Son of Pamela Barber, has an older sister who gave him the nickname 'Cat.’

  • Attended Hampton High School (Va.) and finished his prep career as the all-time leading scorer in his district, totaling 2,097 points. Averaged 21.3 points as a junior to lead Hampton to a 27-6 record and state championship as a junior. Named 2012 Group AAA Player of the Year. Scored 20.2 points per game as a senior, leading his team to a 22-6 record.

  • Totaled 11 points and four assists in the 2013 McDonald's All-American Game in Chicago.
