USA Basketball Notes

  • Gold Medals: 2017 FIBA Americas U16 Championship and 2018 FIBA U17 World Cup.
  • As a member of the 2018 USA U17 World Cup Team, averaged 9.5 ppg. and 5.8 rpg. to help the USA to a 7-0 record and gold medal from June 30-July 8 in Santa Fe, Argentina.
  • As a member of the 2017 USA Basketball Men’s U16 National Team, helped the USA to a 5-0 record and gold medal at the 2017 FIBA Americas U16 Championship.
  • Took part in the 2017 USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Team October Minicamp.

  • 2017 MaxPreps Freshman All-America honorable mention.

  • Has played two varsity seasons.
  • As a sophomore at University School (Davie, Fla.) in 2017-18, helped his team to a 36-2 record, a 5A state championship, a City of Palms Classic title and the final game of the GEICO High School Nationals; during the GEICO Nationals averaged 21.3 ppg. and 9.7 rpg. over three games.
  • As a freshman at Cardinal Newman High School (West Palm Beach, Fla.) in 2016-17, helped his team to a 19-8 record and the 5A regional semifinals. 
    Competes for Team Florida in the Nike EYBL.

Sights And Sounds: USA World Cup Qualifying Team 78, Panama 48

Comprised of a mix of returning veterans, with a combined 23 Olympic and World Cup gold medals and an overall 669-39 (.945) winning record in USA Basketball games played, the 2018 USA Basketball Women’s World Cup Team was finalized ahead of the Sept. 22-30 FIBA World Cup in Tenerife, Spain.

The 2018 USA Basketball Women’s National Team earned a hard-fought, unofficial 70-60 scrimmage win over Australia on Wednesday afternoon in Tenerife, Canary Islands.
