USA BASKETBALL NOTES:

  • Named a member of the February 2021 USA Basketball Men’s AmeriCup Qualifying Team on Feb. 2, 2021.

  • Played in both games for the USA in the AmeriCup Qualifying February 2021 window, helping the USA to wins over Bahamas (93-77) and Mexico (95-76). In the two games, averaged 3.0 minutes, 2.5 points and 1.5 rebounds a game.

PROFESSIONAL NOTES:

  • Played two seasons (2011-12 to 2012-13) in the NBA G League. Played in 30 games, started in 24, averaged 36.5 minutes, 13.2 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.1 blocked shots a game, while shooting 53.0% from the field, 32.8% from 3-point and 69.0% from the foul line.

  • Played in 2012-13 for NBA G League Santa Cruz Warriors and Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Altogether, played in 16 games, started in 10 games, averaged 21.6 minutes, 10.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.1 blocked shots a game. Shot 51.2% from the field and 66.7% from the foul line.

  • Played in 2011-12 for NBA G League Erie BayHawks. Played and started in 14 games, averaged 32.0 minutes, 16.87 points, 8.6

  • Has played eight seasons (2011-12 to 2018-19) internationally, playing for Anyang KGC (Korea), Qingdao (China), Sagesse Al Hekmeh Beirut (Lebanon ), Liaoning (China), Guangdong Dongguan (China), Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut (Lebanon), Quimsa (Argentina), Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut  (Lebanon) and Alaska Aces (Philippines).

  • Played in 2018-19 for Alaska Aces (Philippines) and played and started in 7 games, averaged 34.1 minutes, 20.1 points, 13.7

  • Played in 2017-18 for Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut (Lebanon), played in 35 games, started in 26 games, averaged 27.1 minutes, 12.3 points and 7.6 rebounds a game, while shooting 62.0% from the field, 39.0% from 3-point and 70.7% from the foul line.

  • Played in 2015-16 for Kolossos Rodou BC (Greece). Played in 28 games, started six, averaged 18.2 minutes, 7.0 points and 4.0

  • rebounds a game. Shot 53.7% from the field and 73.9% from the foul line.

  • Played 5 pre-season games with Brooklyn Nets in 2015-16, averaged 13.0 minutes, 7.4 points and 2.8 rebounds, shot 41.2% from the field.

COLLEGE NOTES:

  • Played four seasons (2004-05 - 2007-08) at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi.

  • Played in 114 games, stated in 73 games, compiled 1,407 points (12.3 ppg.), 685 rebounds (6.0 rpg.) and 169 blocked shots (1.5 bpg.). Shot 56.60% from the field, 36.4% from 3-point and 72.0% from the foul line.

  • Left ranked as the career leader in points (1,407), 1st in double-figure scoring (70), 1st in blocked shots (170), 2nd in rebounds (681), 3rd in double-doubles (12), 4th in minutes (2,615), 4th in scoring average (12.2 ppg.) , 4th in rebound average (5.9 rpg.)

  • As a junior (2006-07), played in 33 games, started 27 games, averaged 25.7 minutes, 15.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.6 blocked shots a game. Shot 59.0% from the field (ranked 23rd nationally), 32.0% from 3-point and 69.0% from the foul line. Named Southland Conference Player of the Year, Southland Tournament MVP and honorable mention A.P. All-America.

  • As a sophomore (2005-06), played in 27 games, started 16 games, averaged 24.0 minutes, 15.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocked shots a game. Shot 60.2% from the field, 47.1% from 3-point and 80.9% from the foul line. Named the Independent Player of the Year and finished the year ranked 13th in NCAA Division I in field goal percentage  (.602 ) and 92nd in blocked shots per game (1.6).

  • As a freshman (2004-05), played in 25 games, averaged 12.6 minutes, 5.6 points and 3.3 rebounds a game.

PERSONAL NOTES:

  • Son of Corine and Kenny Allen.

  • Played at Sam Houston High School (TX)  and was a two-time all-state selection. Averaged 18.2 points, 12.6 rebounds and 4.0 blocked shots a game senior season to help lead team to a 22-10 record and the district championship.
