  • Helped lead the 2020 February USA AmeriCup Qualifying Team to a 2-0 record and a pair of wins over Puerto Rico in the first window of FIBA AmeriCup qualifying tournament. Played in two games, averaged 15.0 minutes, 6.0 points and 1.5 rebounds a game. Shot 50.0 percent from the field and 100.0 percent (4-4 FTs) from the foul line.

  • Played in 2018-19 for the NBA G League Stockton Kings. Played in 50 games, started in 42 games, averaged 30.7 minutes, 11.8 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. Shot 44.9 percent from the field, 31.5 percent from 3-point and 80.8 percent from the foul line.

  • In his four collegiate seasons, played in 114 games, started in 86 games, and capped his career with 914 points (8.0 ppg.), 445 rebounds (3.9 rpg.) and 286 assists (2.5 apg.). Shot 45.7 percent from the field, 26.6 percent from 3-point and 70.3 percent from the foul line. 

  • Ranks among Sacramento State’s all-time career top 10 in numerous categories, including fourth in minutes (3,055), tied for fourth in starts (86), fifth in games (114), seventh in assists (286), ninth in free throws attempted (344) and 10th in free throws made (242). His total of 914 points are the 16th best mark in school history.

  • As a freshman (2012-13), played in 29 games, started in one game, averaged 13.7 minutes, 3.0 points and 1.8 rebounds per game. Shot 41.8 percent from the floor, 25.0 percent from 3-point and 56.5 percent from the foul line.

PERSONAL NOTES:

  • Son of Chris and Beth Demps. Father was a defensive lineman for the Sacramento State Hornet football squad from 1984-86.

  • A 2012 graduate of Pleasant Grove High School in Elk Grove, California. Two-sport athlete at Pleasant Grove and was named to ESPN’s Cal-Hi Sports Grid-Hoop (basketball and football) first team all-state squad after leading the Eagles to the 2012 Sac-Joaquin Section Div. I basketball semifinals, and quarterbacking the football team to the section championship game. Played four years of both basketball (shooting guard) and football (quarterback).
