USA BASKETBALL NOTES:

  • Helped lead the 2020 February USA AmeriCup Qualifying Team to a 2-0 record and a pair of wins over Puerto Rico in the first window of FIBA AmeriCup qualifying tournament. Played amd started in two games, averaged 24.5 minutes, a team third-best 13.0 points, 3.5 rebounds a team-high 6.0 assists and 1.5 steals a game. Shot 41.7 percent from the field, 57.1 percent (4-7 3pt FGs) from 3-point and 85.7 percent from the foul line. Had a team-high for free throws made (12) and attempted (14).
  • Named a member of the February 2020 USA Basketball Men’s World Cup Qualifying Team on Feb. 12, 2020.

PROFESSIONAL NOTES:

  • Played in 2019-20 for China Basketball Association (CBA) Beijing Royal Fighters. Played and started in 29 games, averaged 36.0 minutes, 26.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 2.3 steals a game.  Shot 48.9 percent from the field, 39.5 percent from 3-point and 83.9 percent from the foul line.

  • Played in 2017-18 and 2018-19 for the CBA Guangzhou Loong Lions. Averaged 34.4 points, 6.9 rebounds and 7.6 assists in 45 games in 2018-19, and 35.6 points, 5.8 rebonds and 5.4 assists a game in 23 games in 2017-18.

  • Played in 2016-17 for Unicaja Malagna (Spain). All told, played 60 games, averaged 10.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists a game.

  • Played in 2014-15 for Eisbären Bremerhaven (Germany). Played in 34 games, started 33 games, averaged 30.2 minutes, 18.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists a game.

  • Also played for Kobrat (Finland) in 2013-14 and for Port of Antwerp Giants (Belgium) in 2014-15.

  • Played in 2012-13 for NBA G League Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Played in 37 games, started in 10 games, averaged 18.0 minutes, 6.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists a game.  

  • Averaged 12.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game in three games at the 2012 Portsmouth Invitational.

COLLEGE NOTES:

  • Played four seasons (2008-09 - 2011-12) at the University of Arizona.

  • Played in 139 games, started in 119 games, compiled 1,338 points (9.6 ppg.), 383 rebounds (2.8 rpg.), 302 assists (2.2 apg.) and 124 steals (0.9 spg.). Shot 41.0 percent from the field, 40.4 percent from 3-point and 77.0 percent from the foul line.

  • Finished his Arizona career ranked in the top 10 in six career statistical categories: games played (139/1st), 3-point field goals made (193/T4th), games started (119/T5th), minutes played (3,829/7th), 3-point field goal attempts (478/8th) and three-point field goal percentage (.404/8th), and was 22nd in points scored (1,341).

  • Helped lead Arizona to an 90-49 overall record for a 64.7 winning percentage.

  • As a senior (2011-12), played in 35 games, started in 34 games, averaged 32.1 minutes, 13.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.1 steals a game. Shot 42.0 percent from the field, 44.4 percent from 3-point and 78.9 percent from the foul line. 

  • Named 2012-13 All-Pac 12 first team, Pac 12 All-Tournament, Pac 12 All-Defensive first team and USBWA all-District IX.

  • As a junior (2010-11), played in 38 games, started in 34 games, averaged 25.5 minutes, 8.1 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists a game. Shot 37.3 percent from the field, 35.5 percent from 3-point and 74.7 percent from the foul line.  Named honorable mention Pac-10 all-Defensive team.

  • As a sophomore (2009-10), played in 31 games, started in 24 games, averaged 28.8 minutes, 11.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists a game. Shot 41.2 percent from the field, 41.7 percent from 3-point and 75.5 percent from the foul line.  

  • Ranked fifth in the Pac-10 Conference in 3-point FG percentage (.417)

  • As a freshman (2008-09), played in 35 games, started in 27 games, averaged 24.1 minutes, 6.1 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists a game. Shot 45.0 percent from the field, 38.3 percent from 3-point and 78.3 percent from the foul line. Named honorable mention Pac-10 Conference All-Freshman Team.

PERSONAL NOTES:

  • Member of Overseas Elite which won four consecutive titles (2015-2018) and compiled a 25-0 record in the summertime The Basketball Tournament (TBT) championships, a single-elimination tournament played each summer in the United States that offers $2 million in winner-take-all prize money.  Twice was named the TBT MVP (2016, 2017).
