USA BASKETBALL NOTES:

  • Named a member of the February 2021 USA Basketball Men’s AmeriCup Qualifying Team on Feb. 2, 2021.

  • Played and started in one game for the USA in the AmeriCup Qualifying February 2021 window, helping the USA to a win over Bahamas (93-77). 

  • Injured in the USA's game against Bahamas and was unable to play versus Mexico.

  • Recorded 6 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist in 11 minutes of action in the USA's win over Bahamas.

  • Member of the 2013 USA World University Games Team that finished 6-2 and in ninth place. Started and played in five games, averaged 9.4 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists a game. Shot 51.5% from the field, 23.1% from 3-point and 71.4% from the foul line.

PROFESSIONAL NOTES:

  • Through 2019-20, has played in 180 NBA regular season games, including 44 starts, over four NBA seasons (2016-17 to 2019-20).    In 2019-20, played 22 games with the Atlanta Hawks and 33 games with the Minnesota Timberwolves. In 2018-19 played in 35 games with the Brooklyn Nets, in 2017-18 played in 63 games with the Charlotte Hornets and in 2016-17 played in 27 games with the       Charlotte Hornets.

  • Through 2019-20, has played in 180 NBA regular season games, has started in 44 games, compiled 2,883 minutes (16.0 mpg.), 757 points (4.2 ppg.), 400 rebounds (2.2 rpg.) and 6 steals, while shooting 38.3% from the field, 33.3% from 3-point and 69.1% from the foul line

  • Through 2019-20, has played in 5 NBA playoff games, all in 2018-19 with the Brooklyn Nets. Averaged 15.7 minutes, 1.4 points and 2.2 rebounds a game.

  • Played for the Milwaukee Bucks during the 2020-21 pre-season.

  • In 2019-20, altogether played in 55 games, started in 20 games, for Atlanta and Minnesota and averaged 16.9 minutes, 4.4 points and 27 rebounds a game, while shooting 36.0% from the field, 27.5% from 3-point and 64.3% from the foul line.

  • Played two seasons in the NBA G League, 46 games for the Idaho Stampede in 2015-16 and 1 game with the Long Island Nets in 2018-19. Averaged 30.3 minutes, 16.0 points,  6.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists a game.

COLLEGE NOTES:

  • Played four seasons (2011-12 to 2014-15) at Virginia Commonwealth University.

  • In four seasons, played in 140 games, started in 102 games, compiled 3,555 minutes (25.4 mpg.), 1,882 points (13.4 ppg.), 804 rebounds (5.7 rpg.), 199 assists (1.4 apg.) and 111 steals (0.8 apg.). Shot 43.2% from the field, 35.4% from 3-point and 69.1% from the foul line.

  • Ranks among VCU career leaders 2nd in points, 2nd in free throws made, 6th in rebounds, 6th for 3-point field goals made, 8th for field goals made, tied for 9th for double-doubles and 10th for minutes played.

  • Led VCU to a 107-33 record (.764 winning percentage) and four NCAA Tournaments.

  • Named 2014 and 2015 Atlantic 10 All-Conference first team, 2013 Atlantic 10 All-Conference second team, 2015 Atlantic 10 Tournament Most Outstanding Performer, 2014 and 2015 Atlantic 10 All-Championship Team, 2014 and 2015 NABC All-District 4 first team and 2013 NABC All-District 4 second team.

  • As a senior (2014-15), played and started in 33 games, averaged 29.4 minutes, 16.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists a game. Shot 42.8% from the field, 38.1% from 3-point and 69.1% from the foul line.

  • As a junior (2013-14), played in 34 games, started in 33 games, averaged 28.3 minutes, 15.8 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists a game. Shot 43.7% from the field, 33.7% from 3-point and 69.4% from the foul line.

  • As a sophomore (2012-13), played and started in 36 games, averaged 27.6 minutes, 15.1 points and 5.8 rebounds a game.

  • As a freshman in (2011-12), played in 36 games, averaged 16.7  minutes, 7.0 points and 3.2 rebounds a game.

PERSONAL NOTES:

  • Played high school basketball at St. Mary's Ryken High School (Leonardtown, Md.). As a senior he was named to the Washington Post All-Met team for the Washington D.C. area after averaging 21.5 points and 12 rebounds a game.
