USA Basketball Notes

  • Gold Medals: 2017 FIBA Americas U16 Championship and 2018 FIBA U17 World Cup.
  • As a member of the 2018 USA U17 World Cup Team, played in just the final two games after being sidelined by injury in exhibition play and averaged 7.5 ppg. to help the USA to a 7-0 record and gold medal from June 30-July 8 in Santa Fe, Argentina.
  • As a member of the 2017 USA Men’s U16 National Team, helped the USA to a 5-0 record and gold medal at the 2017 FIBA Americas U16 Championship.

Sights And Sounds: USA World Cup Qualifying Team 78, Panama 48

Comprised of a mix of returning veterans, with a combined 23 Olympic and World Cup gold medals and an overall 669-39 (.945) winning record in USA Basketball games played, the 2018 USA Basketball Women’s World Cup Team was finalized ahead of the Sept. 22-30 FIBA World Cup in Tenerife, Spain.

The 2018 USA Basketball Women’s National Team earned a hard-fought, unofficial 70-60 scrimmage win over Australia on Wednesday afternoon in Tenerife, Canary Islands.
