  • Announced on June 3 to the 2021 U19 World Cup Team training camp roster.
  • Participated in the 2019 USA Basketball Men's Junior National Team October minicamp.

College Notes

  • As a freshman at Purdue, played in 23 games (12 starts) and averaged 11.1 ppg, 3.3 rpg and 1.9 apg. Aided the boilermakers to an 18-10 record and an NCAA Tournament bid.
  • Tallied career-highs of 26 points versus North Texas (March. 19, 2021), in the NCAA Tournament, seven rebounds versus Nebraska (Feb. 20, 2021), five assists versus Michigan (Jan. 22, 2021) and four blocked shots versus Penn State (Feb. 26, 2021).
  • Ivey’s 26 points against North Texas was the second most by a male Big Ten freshman in his NCAA Tournament debut in league history.
  • Was one of just six freshmen nationally to have 250 points, 75 rebounds, 40 assists and 15 blocked shots.
  • Became just the second freshman since 1992-93 (Michigan State's Miles Bridges) to average 10.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and have at least 12 blocked shots in Big Ten Conference games only. Was one of three players to do it nationally this season (Oklahoma State's Cade Cunningham, USC's Evan Mobley).
    Scored in double-figures in 14 games, including two games of 20 or more points.
  • 2021 Big Ten Conference All-Freshman Team.
  • Two-time Big Ten Conference Freshman of the Week in 2020-21.

High School Notes

  • Finished his career at Marian High School scoring 958 points and averaging over 25.0 ppg as a junior.
  • Averaged 14.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists while shooting 43.1 percent from long distance with the Indy Heat on the Nike EYBL circuit in 2018.

Personal Notes

  • Mother, Niele, is the head women’s basketball coach at Notre Dame after a year as an assistant coach with the Memphis Grizzlies. She was an All-American basketball player at Notre Dame.
  • Father was a sixth-round draft pick of the Baltimore Ravens in the 2002 NFL Draft.
