Son of Edward Johnson and Sharonda Jeffries, has three brothers and two sisters.
A four-year letterwinner at Santa Fe High School in Edmond, Okla. Earned 2015 Oklahoma Class 6A All-State honors and was named the Defensive Player of the Year in the Central Oklahoma Athletic Conference senior season. Also named to The Oklahoman Super 5 and All-State Teams and was selected to play in the Big All-City Game as a senior.
Helped lead Santa Fe to a runner-up finish at the 2015 state tournament and averaged 15.8 points and 7.8 rebounds a game.
