  • Named on July 16, 2021, to the 2020 U.S. Olympic Men's Basketball Team.
  • Becomes the sixth player 21 years old or younger to be on a U.S. Olympic roster since NBA players were allowed to play in 1992, joining Anthony Davis, 19 (2012), LeBron James, 19 (2004), Carmelo Anthony, 20 (2004), Emeka Okafor, 21 (2004) and Amar’e Stoudamire, 21 (2004). 
  • Added on July 10, 2021, to the 2021 USA Men's National Team roster for the team's five exhibition games. 
  • Named to the 2021 USA Select Team on July 1, 2021.
  • Named to the 2018 USA Junior National Select Team for the 21st annual Nike Hoop Summit on March 13, 2018.
  • Participated in the 2017 USA Men's Junior National Team October minicamp.

  • Played one season (2018-19) with the University of Kentucky.

  • As a freshman (2018-19) played in 37 games, started in 36 games, averaged 30.7 minutes, 13.5 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists a game, while shooting 46.1% from the field, 38.1% from 3-point and 70.3% from the foul line.

  • Son of Rochelle and Chris Johnson, has three siblings, Kaleb, Kyle and Kristyn.

  • Brother, Kaleb played college basketball at Georgetown University from 2015-2019 and was drafted 34th overall by the Austin Spurs in the January 2021 NBA G League draft.

  • Averaged 22.1 points, 6.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game for Oak Hill Academy.

  • Named the Virginia Gatorade High School Player of the Year and was selected to the McDonald's All American Game and the Jordan Brand Classic Game.

  • Named to the 2017-18 Naismith Trophy High School Boy’s Preseason Watch List.

  • Captured MVP honors at the NBPA Top 100 Camp prior to his junior season.
