USA BASKETBALL NOTES:

  • Named on July 1, 2021, a member of the 2021 USA Men's Select Team that trained with the U.S. Olympic Men's Basketball Team.

  • Was also selected to round-out the USA National Team roster for its pre-Olympic exhibition games in Las Vegas. Played in one game, recorded three points, two assists in three minutes of action in 108-80 win over Argentina.

  • Traveled to Tokyo with the U.S. Olympic Men's Basketball Team and trained with the team.

  • Member of the November 2020 USA Basketball Men’s AmeriCup Qualifying Team on Nov. 23, 2020. Played in one game, recorded 19 points (5-8 FGS, 7-7 FTs), two rebounds, three assists and one steal in 18 minutes of action in USA's 94-78 win versus Mexico. 

  • Member of the February 2020 USA Basketball Men’s AmeriCup Qualifying Team. Started in both games, averaged 25.5 minutes, 9.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals a game. Shot 26.7% from the field, 25.0% from 3-point and made 7-of-7 free throws. 

  • Named a member of the February 2020 USA Basketball Men’s AmeriCup Qualifying Team on Feb. 17, 2020.

PORFESSIONAL NOTES:

  • Has played in 26 NBA regular season games. Played in eight games in 2019-20 for the Orlando Magic and played in 18 games in 2017-18 for the Atlanta Hawks.

  • In 26 NBA regular season games, averaged 9.8 minutes, 2.3 points and 2.4 assists per game. Shot 32.8% from the field, 34.6% from 3-point and 90.0% from the foul line.

  • Played in 2019-20 for the Orlando Magic. Played in eight games, averaged 4.7 minutes and 1.5 points a game. 

  • Played in 2019-20 for NBA G League for LAkeland Magic. Playedin 29 games, started in 28 games, averaged 35.0 minutes, 21.1 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists a game. Shot 43.3% from the field, 43.2% from 3-point and 84.1% from the foul line. Named 2020 All-G League second team and 2020 Midseason All-NBA G League Eastern Conference Team.

  • Played in six games for the Orlando Magic in the 2019-20 pre-season. Averaged 2.2 points, 1.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.  Shot 36.4 percent from the field, 60.0 percent (3-5 3ptFGs) from 3-point and 2-of-2 from the foul line.

  • Played for the San Antonio Spurs in the 2019 NBA Las Vegas Summer League. Played and started in 4 games, averaged 23.7 minutes, 6.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists a game.

  • Played in 2017-18 for NBA G League for Erie Bayhawks. Played in 36 games, started 34 games, averaged 34.8 minutes, 15.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and a G League-high 10.1 assists per game.

  • Named 2017 All-G League second team, 2020 Midseason All-NBA G League Eastern Conference Team  and twice named G- League Performer of  the Week.

  • Played internationally in 2018-19 for Cedevita (Croatia) and Herbalife Gran Canaria (Spain), in 2014-15 for ASA Koroivos Amaliadas (Greece) and in 2012-13 for Landstede Zwolle (Netherlands).

  • Played in 17 games in 2018-19 for Cedevita (Croatia) and Herbalife Gran Canaria (Spain), averaged 4.4 points and 4.5 assists.

  • Played three seasons (2013-14, 2014-15 and 2016-17) for the NBA G League South Bay Lakers.

 

COLLEGE NOTES:

  • Played four seasons (2008-09 to 2011-12) at the University of Alabama-Huntsville.  

  • Led Huntsville to three Gulf South Conference championships and two NCAA Division II Elite Eight appearances. Finished his career as the school’s and conference’s all-time leader in assists with 878 and UAH’s all-time leader in steals with 268.

  • As a senior (2011-12), played and started in 33 games, averaged 34.0 minutes, 12.7 points, 5.4 rebounds and 8.9 assists a game. Named 2012 GSC Co-Player of the Year, GSC Tournament MVP and All-GSC first team.

  • As a junior (2010-11), became the school’s leader in career assists as he led team with 272, also led the team in steals (73) and minutes per game (33.2) and was second in points (430). Named 2011 NABC All-American, NABC All-District first team, All-GSC East Division first team and GSC All-Academic Team.

  • As a sophomore (2009-10), recorded 30 starts and was the team’s leader in rebounds (163), rebounding average (5.4), assists (200) steals (52), and minutes per game (31.7), ranked second in 3-point field goals made (46). Named All-GSC East Division second team an GSC All-Academic Team.

  • As a freshman (2008-09), played in 28 games, started in 24 games, finished as the team leader in steals (55), second on the team in field goal percentage (.463%), 3-point field goals made (41), rebounds (116), rebounding average (4.1), and assists (111). Named 2008-09 GSC East Division Freshman of the Year.

PERSONAL NOTES:

  • Born in Birmingham, Alabama.

  • Played at Spain Park High School in Hoover, Alabama.

  • Named the 2007 Northeast Regional MVP, Selected as the 2007 and 2008 All-Area MVP.

  • Completed his career as the school’s all-time leader in assists.
