Born in Gilbert, Arizona.
Father Todd Sr. played college football for Northern Illinois University and for the St. Louis/Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Raiders.
Brothers Todd Jr. (Nebraska), Cassius (Michigan State) and Andrus (Stanford) all played collegiate football. Andrus currently plays in the NFL for the New Orleans Saints and is a three-time pro bowler. Both his brothers also won Arizona state championships for basketball playing under the same head coach, Sam Duane Jr.
Sisters Maya (University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff) and Leilani (San Francisco, Seattle) played collegiate basketball.
