USA Basketball Notes

  • Gold Medals: 2019 FIBA World Cup, 2018 FIBA Americas U18 Championship.
  • Member of the 2019 USA Basketball U19 National Team that captured the gold medal with a perfect 7-0 record at the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship in Heraklion, Greece. Played and started in all seven games, averaged 19.9 minutes, team second-bests of 12.7 points and 6.3 rebounds, and added 1.7 steals a game. Shot 60.3 percent from the field and 75.0 percent from the foul line.
  • Recorded 17 points in wins over Lithuania and Latvia, recorded 13 points and 0 rebounds in semifinals win over Lithuania, 13 pointd and 6 rebounds in quarterfinals win over Latvia nd posted 13 points and 7 rebounds in over Mali in the gold medal game.
  • Started and played in the USA's two exhibition games, averaged 21.5 minutes, 9.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals a game, and shot 47.13 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from the field.
  • Named to the 2019 USA Men's U19 World Cup Team on June 20.
  • Named to the USA Nike Hoop Summit Team on Feb. 14, 2019.
  • Took part in the 2018 USA Basketball Men's Junior National Team October minicamp.
  • Member of the 2018 USA Men’s U18 National Team that posted a 6-0 record and collected the 2018 FIBA Americas U18 Championship for Men gold medal in St. Catharines, Canada; started all six games and averaged 10.7 ppg. and a team-leading 8.5 rpg.

  • Signed a National Letter of Intent with Villanova University.

  • Recorded in January 2019 at the Hoophall Classic 18 points and 26 rebounds in team's win over Oak Hill Academy.
  • Played three varsity seasons at Bishop Miege High School in Roeland Park, Kansas, as a freshman, sophomore and junior, and led team to three consecutive state championships.
  • As a junior at Bishop Miege in 2017-18, started all 25 games and averaged 21.3 ppg., 8,1 rpg., 2.3 apg. and 1.3 spg. in leading his team to a 22-3 record and a third-straight state title.
