USA Basketball Notes

  • Gold Medals: 2017 FIBA Americas U16 Championship and 2018 FIBA U17 World Cup.
  • Announced as taking part in the 2019 USA Men's U19 World Cup Team training camp but was unable to attend.
  • As a member of the 2018 USA U17 World Cup Team, started in all seven games and averaged 8.6 ppg. and 8.1 rpg. to help the USA to a 7-0 record and gold medal from June 30-July 8 in Santa Fe, Argentina.
  • As a member of the 2017 USA Basketball Men’s U16 National Team, helped the USA to a 5-0 record and gold medal at the 2017 FIBA Americas U16 Championship.
  • Participated in the 2016 USA Basketball Junior National Team October minicamp.

  • Has played three varsity seasons at New Haven High School (New Haven, Mich.), where he has started in all 78 career games and compiled 1,498 points, 868 rebounds, 359 assists, 352 steals and 185 blocks.
  • Lists career single-game highs of 40 points (vs. Macomb Dakota in 2017-18), 25 rebounds (vs. East Detroit in 2016-17), 15 assists (vs. Fitzgerald in 2017-18) and 11 blocked shots (vs. Flint Beecher in 2016-17).
  • As a junior in 2017-18, started in all 25 games played and averaged 23.6 ppg., 10.8 rpg., 5.3 apg., 4.8 spg. and 2.0 bpg. to help his team to a 26-1 record and the state tournament Class B semifinals.
  • As a sophomore in 2016-17, started in all 28 games and averaged 18.1 ppg., 11.8 rpg., 3.6 apg., 3.7 spg. and 3.2 bpg. to help his team to a 27-1 record, a second-straight regional title and a Class B state title. 
  • As a freshman in 2015-16, started in all 25 games and averaged 16.0 ppg., 10.7 rpg., 5.1 apg., 4.0 spg. and 1.8 bpg. to help his team to a 22-3 record, a regional championship and the state Class B quarterfinals; notched four triple-doubles.
    Competed in the summer for The Family AAU in the Nike EYBL in 2017.
