Attended Spain Park High School (Ala.), where he averaged 27.1 ppg., 12.7 rpg. and 2.9 bpg. as a junior in 2015-16 to help his team reach the Alabama Class 7A semifinals.
Averaged 19.2 ppg. and 12.2 rpg. as a sophomore in 2014-15 as Spain Park recorded 24 victories.

Mother, Vickie Wiley, neé Orr, was on the 1992 U.S. Olympic Team that finished with the bronze medal in Barcelona. She won gold at the 1990 World Championship and Goodwill Games, finshed in fifth place at the 1987 World University Games and 1985 FIBA U19 World Championship, and captured a gold as a member of the 1985 U.S. Olympic Festival South Team.
Father, Aubrey, played basketball at Auburn and professionally in Spain and Turkey.
