USA Basketball Notes

• Gold Medal: 2019 FIBA U19 World Cup.
• Member of the 2019 USA Basketball U19 National Team that captured the gold medal with a perfect 7-0 record at the FIBA U19 World Cup in Heraklion, Greece. Played in all seven games, averaged 13.7 minutes, 8.7 points, a team second-best 6.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals a game. Shot 44.2 percent from the field and 51.7 percent from the foul line.

• Recorded 17 points and 12 rebounds in win over Latvia, 12 points and 7 rebounds against New Zealand and 11 points and 9 rebounds against Senegal.

• Played in the USA's two exhibition games, averaged 14.0 minutes, a team second-best 12.5 points, a team-high 9.0 rebounds a game. Shot 54.5 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from the foul line.

• In the USA's exhibition game 92-88 win against Serbia, recorded a team-high of 17 points (8-11 FGs) and 9 rebounds in 16 minutes of action.

• Named to the 2019 USA Men's U19 World Cup Team on June 20.

College Notes

• As a freshman at Purdue University in 2018-19, appeared in 34 games and averaged 5.2 ppg. and 4.0 rpg.  
• Recorded first career double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block and 1 steal in a loss at Michigan State.
• Williams’ 54.2 percent shooting from the field was the eighth-best percentage by a freshman in school history.

High School Notes

• Averaged 20 ppg., 21 rpg. and 3 bpg. as a senior in 2017-18 and led Henry Ford Academy (Mich.) to the 2018 district championship.
• Surpassed 1,000 career points at Henry Ford in February 2018.
• Named Team MVP three times and won the Leadership Award twice and Mr. Metro once. 
• As a junior in 2016-17, averaged 22 ppg. and 25 rpg.
