  • Gold Medals: 2019 FIBA AmeriCup, 2019 3x3 Pan American Games, 2018 FIBA Americas U18 Championship. 
  • Bronze medal: 2016 FIBA U17 World Cup.
  • Is 25-1 in a USA Basketball uniform.
  • Youngest member of the 2019 USA AmeriCup Team that finished with a 6-0 record and the gold medal at the FIBA AmeriCup in San Juan, Puerto Rico; averaged 5.2 ppg. and 3.8 rpg.
  • Member of the 2019 USA Women's 3x3 Pan American Games Team that captured the gold medal with a 7-0 mark at the historic first 3x3 PAGs tournament.
  • Took part in the 2019 Red Bull USA Basketball 3x3 Nationals as a member of the Connecticut team; finished 3-2 and in seventh place.
  • As a member of the 2018 USA U18 National Team, started in four of six games and averaged 9.2 ppg. and 4.5 rpg. to help the USA to a 6-0 record and a gold medal in Mexico City.
  • Member of the 2016 USA Women's U17 World Championship Team; started in all seven games and averaged a team-leading 12.0 ppg. to go along with 9.4 rpg. and 1.7 bpg. to help the USA to a 6-1 record and bronze medal at the 2016 FIBA U17 World Cup in Zaragoza, Spain.

College Notes

  • As a freshman at University of Connecticut in 2018-19, averaged 4.4 ppg. and 3.8 rpg. and was second on the team with 54 blocks.

  • 2018 USA Today All-USA second team.
  • 2018 Naismith All-America second team.
  • 2018 McDonald’s All-American.
  • 2018 Jordan Brand Classic All-Star.
  • 2018 USA Today All-Georgia Player of the Year and first team.

High School Notes

  • Played four varsity seasons at Winder Barrow High School in Winder, Georgia, where she  started in 92 career games and amassed 1,683 points, 1,121 rebounds and 381 blocked shots.
  • In her final two seasons, aided her team to the state tournament elite eight.
  • As a sophomore in 2015-16, helped her team to a 26-7 record and the state championship game.
  • Played in the summer for Georgia Metros.
  • Also played varsity volleyball from 2013 to 2017; named 2014 and 2015 all-region second team and 2015-16 Region 5A Player of the Year.

  • Father Sebastian Ododa played basketball at Huntington University and for the Kenyan national team; brother, Alonzo Nelson-Ododa played basketball at the University of Richmond and one year at the University of Pittsburgh as a grad transfer; sister-in-law is Dearic Hamby of the WNBA Las Vegas Aces, who was a No. 1 pick after a stellar career at Wake Forest.
