Travon Bryant, Brooklyn Nets assistant coach and former professional basketball player, will serve in his first USA Basketball coaching assignment as a court coach at the 2019 USA Basketball Men’s Junior National Team July minicamp.
Bryant will enter his third season with the Nets (2017-18 to 2018-19) next year, after serving as an assistant coach for the NBA Development League’s Oklahoma City Blue for two seasons (2015-16 to 2017-18).
Bryant attended University of Missouri from 2000-2004 and averaged 10.6 points per game his senior year. He competed professionally overseas for 11 seasons, playing in Greece, Italy, Germany, Ukraine, France and Japan.
As a high school senior in 1999, Bryant attended David Starr Jordan High School in Long Beach, California, and competed in the USA Basketball Youth Development Festival and the McDonald’s All-American Game.
