The WNBA All-Star learned a lot in her first Olympic gold-medal go-round with USA Basketball.

It was a golden journey for the USA Women's World Cup Team in 2018 as it ushered in a new era with an unblemished run to a third consecutive FIBA World Cup gold medal.

Brittney Griner ran up and down the floor at the Werth Family UConn Basketball Champions Center with a sense of freedom. Gone are the bullies that plagued her childhood. Gone are the suicidal thoughts that twice nearly caused her to end her life.

The USA Basketball Women's National Team concluded its four-game European Tour with an 85-53 victory against defending EuroLeague and SuperCup champs ZVVZ USK Prague.

In an overall team effort that saw every member score by halftime, the 2015 USA National Team raced out to a 32-6 lead at the end of the first quarter earned an eventual 86-50 win over 2015-16 EuroCup pro team Dike Naples on Oct. 8.
