Both the USA men’s and women’s U18 teams captured gold in Valdivia, Chile, with perfect 5-0 records. Washington freshman Markelle Fultz was tabbed MVP of the FIBA Americas U18 Championship for Men, while Baylor freshman Lauren Cox earned MVP honors in the women’s U18 tournament.

With seven 3-pointers in the third quarter, the USA Men’s U18 National Team blew past Brazil 88-48 in the FIBA Americas U18 Championship semifinals on Friday night in Valdivia, Chile, and earned a spot in the gold medal game.
