Ahead of the FIBA AmeriCup, which will take place Sept. 22-30 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, took to the court at the University of Miami Tuesday morning with many new faces in the mix for a spot on the USA AmeriCup roster.

Twenty-two athletes are set to take to the court over the next three days at the University of Miami’s Watsco Center practice gym in a training camp to select the 12-member USA Women’s National Team that will compete in the 2019 FIBA AmeriCup for Women.

Ed Ryan has worked with USA Basketball since the early 1980s and has been a key figure for the Women’s National Team since the mid 1990s.
