'Tis the Season To Compete For College Bragging Rights
Check out some of the people and organizations USA Basketball is following with this week’s USA Basketball Social Roundup:
Lets go @DavidsonMBB. Time to take care of business so I can talk soooo much trash to @hbarnes this year. Great Day to be a Wildcat!

This is the time of year when NBA players might get to jab at one another when their alma maters are playing. Unfortunately for USA Men’s National Team member Stephen Curry, he could not talk trash to Golden State Warriors teammate Harrison Barnes. Curry’s Davidson Wildcats lost to Barnes’ North Carolina Tar Heels, 90-72, on Saturday. (Note: If Barnes, who represented USA Basketball at the 2010 Nike Hoop Summit, talked trash to Curry after the game, it wasn’t on Twitter.)

Speaking of the Nike Hoop Summit, 2014 participant and Texas freshman Myles Turner retweeted this shout-out to his 2014 Junior National Select Team teammate Stanley Johnson, who had a nice game in Arizona’s win over Missouri Monday at the Maui Invitational in Hawaii.
Got the win. Check! 10,301 packed @CLAmktg on a rainy day. And that's why we have the best fans in the country. #one #784studentstoo #one😁

USA Basketball veteran Dawn Staley, who most recently served as an assistant coach for the 2014 Women’s World Championship team that won gold in Turkey last month, has been head coach at the University of South Carolina since 2008. An avid supporter of her team through social media, Staley has plenty to crow about these days. South Carolina is currently ranked No. 1 in women’s college basketball for the first time in school history.

Kim Barnes Arico, assistant coach of the gold medalist 2014 USA Women’s U18 National Team and head coach at the University of Michigan, is clearly proud of her Wolverines with this retweet.
Wishing a special Happy Birthday to the one & only, @RobinRoberts! Hope it's been filled w/ endless love & laughter! pic.twitter.com/vMA8zQZL6v

Cierra Burdick has won four gold medals with USA Basketball, most recently as a member of the USA Women’s 3x3 World Championship Team that captured a second-straight FIBA 3x3 World Championship title last June in Moscow, Russia. Currently a senior at the University of Tennessee, Burdick offered some birthday wishes to this former college basketball player of note.

Closing it out this week with one of our own tweets, a birthday shout-out to a member of the USA Basketball family.
