Follow Friday: @UKCoachCalipari

  • Date:
    Jan 9, 2015

Every week, will join in the popular “Follow Friday” tradition and highlight one of the Twitter accounts we’re following. This week’s pick: @UKCoachCalipari – the Twitter account for University of Kentucky head coach John Calipari.

As head coach of the NCAA’s top-ranked Kentucky Wildcats, you’d think John Calipari might be too busy this time of year to be active on social media. Not so. And Calipari’s Tweets aren’t relegated to the promotion of the Wildcats.

In the last week alone, followers could have seen photos of friends visiting Calipari’s office, heard about where he took his wife for dinner, and watched a video of the Wildcats entertaining needy families on Christmas Eve.

Followers of @UKCoachCalipari can always keep up with how his team is doing, while here on, you can see Calipari’s youth basketball instruction – like this video on the basics of shooting.

Here are a few recent posts from @UKCoachCalipari:

Always love it when my good friend Bob Marcum and Kathy Duggan stop by the office.
