Tina Charles is a six-time gold medalist with USA Basketball. She was part of the 2014 USA Women’s World Championship Team and the 2012 U.S. Olympics gold medal-winning team. In 2009, Charles was selected the USA Basketball Female Athlete of the Year.

Currently playing in Turkey for Fenerbahce, Charles still has time to tweet actively – even as Fenerbahce prepares for the EuroLeague Final Four set to begin April 10. And as the NCAA Women’s Tournament continues, she wrote this guest column for The Players Tribune about her March Madness experiences at the University of Connecticut.
