There’s a reason Angel McCoughtry has won four gold medals with USA Basketball, most recently at the 2014 FIBA Women’s World Championship. Even after winning the World Championship gold medal in October and then playing in Turkey in the EuroLeague, McCoughtry hasn’t stopped working as she prepares for the 2015 WNBA season.

Six-time USA Basketball gold medalist head coach Don Showalter will again lead the 2015 USA Basketball Men’s U16 National Team, which will gather in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in late May before heading to Argentina for the FIBA Americas U16 Championship. As this tweet indicates, Showalter was out of the country this week, too – working at a youth basketball clinic in Cuba.

That is the Winston-Salem (N.C.) Stealers, a women’s basketball AAU program founded and directed by Bishop McGuinness High School head coach Brian Robinson. Robinson has been involved with USA Basketball since 2007, most recently as an assistant coach for the 2014 USA Women’s U17 World Championship Team.
