USA Basketball Announces Girls Southeast Regional Camp

  • Date:
    Sep 7, 2016

Seventh through 12th grade girls will have the opportunity to participate in an official USA Basketball Regional Camp from Sept. 9-11 at the Suwanee Sports Academy – Cobb Facility (3910 Canton Road, Marietta, Georgia, 30066).

USA Basketball Regional Camps combine on-court skills training with off-court life skills sessions in a fun and competitive learning environment. On court sessions also will include 3x3 and five-on-five game play to further help players develop their skill sets.

One of USA Basketball’s Youth Development initiatives, the focus during a Regional Camp is on helping young players of all skill levels improve fundamentals, while also learning about achieving maximum performance in sport and life.

The Southeast Regional Camp will be directed by Carol Callan, USA Basketball Women’s National Team Director, who has led USA Basketball Women’s National Teams to six straight Olympic gold medals while also guiding USA Basketball’s women’s junior teams to unprecedented success.

The cost to attend the camp is $185, which includes all sessions, general athlete insurance and an official USA Basketball Youth Development jersey. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Register today at usab.com/youth/girls-regional-camps/girls-southeast-regional-camp.aspx.
