  • Date:
    May 17, 2017

USA Basketball will conduct a regional camp for girls who are 10-17 years old (at the time of the event) on June 10-11 at Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, California.

The camp will be led by Sue Phillips, a gold-medal winning head coach of the 2013 USA Women’s U16 National Team and 2014 USA Women’s U17 World Championship Team, the head girls basketball coach at Archbishop Mitty and the program director and head coach for the San Jose Cagers.

USA Basketball regional camps provide opportunities for girls to improve their individual basketball skills while learning from USA Basketball licensed coaches.

USA regional camps are open to players of all skill levels and abilities and emphasize fundamental skill development.

Camps combine on-court skills training with off-court life skills sessions in a fun and developmentally appropriate learning environment.

The cost of the San Jose regional camp is $185, which includes all sessions, general athlete insurance and an official USA Basketball Youth Development jersey. Players are responsible for transportation to and from the gym, lodging, all meals, clothing and basketball shoes.

Registration and more details are available at bit.ly/2017RegCampSanJose. All participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
