USA BASKETBALL TRAINING CAMP SITE: Portland, Oregon
EVENT DESCRIPTION: The Nike Hoop Summit is the only game featuring America's top, male high school senior players taking on a World Select Team comprised of the world's top players who are 19 years old or younger.
ELIGIBILITY: The 2019 USA Basketball Junior National Select Team roster will be selected by the USA Basketball Men's Developmental National Team Committee and will feature high school seniors who are U.S. citizens.
EVENT HISTORY:

The 22nd annual Nike Hoop Summit will feature the United States looking to improve its all-time 14-7 record in the event.

Held annually from 1995-2000, the Nike Hoop Summit was resumed in 2004 after a three-year hiatus and since 2008 has taken place in Portland.

The World Team defeated the USA 89-76 in 2018.

NIKE HOOP SUMMIT PLAYERS OF NOTE:

A total of 22 former USA team members have gone on to compete for USA Basketball in the Olympic Games and/or FIBA World Cup, including Shareef Abdur-Rahim (1995), Harrison Barnes (2010), Shane Battier (1997), Elton Brand (1997), *Nick Collison (1999), DeMarcus Cousins (2009), Anthony Davis (2011), Baron Davis (2008), DeMar DeRozan (2008), Kevin Durant (2006), Kevin Garnett (1995), Rudy Gay (2004), Kirk Hinrich (1999), Kyrie Irving (2010), Antawn Jamison (1995), Joe Johnson (1998), Kevin Love (2007), Stephon Marbury (1995), Jermaine O’Neal (1996), Mason Plumlee (2009), Derrick Rose (2007) and Jay Williams (1999)
