2019 USA Basketball Women's Junior National Teams Information
USA Basketball will send teams to compete in the following events in the summer of 2019 – the FIBA Americas U16 Championship, the U19 FIBA World Cup and the Pan American Games. USA Basketball selection committees are responsible for identifying athletes to participate in team trials and the actual selection of each 12-member team. Athletes may show their interest in participating on a 2019 National Team by submitting an Athlete Consideration Form (found HERE).
2019 FIBA Americas U16 Championship
The 2019 FIBA Americas U16 Championship serves as the qualifying tournament for the 2020 FIBA U17 World Cup. Trials to select the finalists for the 12-member team will be held May 23-27 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Athletes will receive invitations to attend the trials by March 8. It will again be possible for athletes not receiving an invitation to participate in the trials by submitting an application. Attendance will be limited to 150 athletes as determined by the USA Basketball Women's Developmental National Team Committee. Training camp will include a variety of practices, scrimmages and friendly games as follows (dates and location will be confirmed as soon as possible):

2019 FIBA U19 World Cup
The 2019 FIBA U19 World Cup will be held July 20-28 in Bangkok, Thailand. Trials to select the 12-member team will be held May 16-20 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The 12-member team will begin training camp on July 5 and athletes will return home following the conclusion of the tournament. Athletes will receive an invitation to attend the trials by April 12 issued by the USA Basketball Women's Junior National Team Committee. Training camp will include a variety of practices, scrimmages and friendly games as follows:

Players eligible for this team must be U.S. citizens, born on or after January 1, 2000.
2019 Pan American Games
The 2019 Pan American Games will be held August 6-10 in Lima, Peru. Trials to select the 12-member team will be held May 16-20 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Training camp will begin July 12 and athletes will return home following the conclusion of the tournament. Athletes will receive an invitation to attend the trials by April 12 issued by the USA Basketball Women's Junior National Team Committee. Players eligible for this team must be U.S. citizens who are currently enrolled as a full-time collegiate student with remaining eligibility for the 2019-2020 school year. Training camp will include a variety of practices, scrimmages and friendly games as follows:
